Dear Client,
To help us further improve our services, please complete the following survey. We appreciate your time and input.

Click here to do the survey:
https://limesurvey/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=443311&token=token_here&lang=en

something similar to this.

This is the final email, but how is the link implemented in the email template?
Code:
https://limesurvey/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=443311&token=&lang=en

Also, if I look at this link, I am not really surprised that Limesurvey is asking for the Token, because the TOKEN is missing in your link.

It should look something like this in the emails that are sent out:
Code:
https://limesurvey/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=443311&token=THISISATOKEN&lang=en
With "THISISATOKEN" being the token.

But what is the CODE that you find in the email template. What you show is the final email, but not the email template.

In the email template, there will be some kind of placeholder e.g. {SURVEYURL}, not the actual link.

This placeholder will then be substituted with the actual individual link for each respondent when the invitation is sent out.

Hi Holch,

Thank you for the quick response.

The email link actually works and the token include is correct. its just since we are sending this to user, they are expecting the link to just work as it is. I tried this multiple time and was able to reproduce it just 2x.

I click on the link attached to the email and when the page loads, ask me about the token, but I know the token and just inputed it on the text area and was able to load the survey.

2x is very, very unspecific. What version of 2.x exactly. This might be a hickup/bug in a specific version.

Also, any of the LS 2.x are EOL for quite a while now.

The surveys was created on version 2.72.2. What I meant from my last reply wast I tried sending my self the email with the link to the survey containing token. I was prompted to enter the token twice in multiple instances that I click on the link included in the email I received. we are currently using 6.5.1
